New Play Development

Production team of Love, Ann. This show was in its second iteration for GSL Fringe 2019.

We aim to provide space for up-and-coming playwrights to develop and workshop their plays in an environment that is inclusive, brave and celebratory.

We can work with playwrights in all stages of their work: from connecting first-time playwrights to mentors to staged readings and full-fleged productions.

While at this stage in our organization we cannot afford to pay artists in the development stage, we will absorb any costs associated with putting a play on its feet and can coordinate all meetings and spaces required for early stages.

Preference will be given to gender-marginalized individuals, however we will still consider other playwrights. The play does not need to be about a social justice issue in order to be considered.
